Kintaro is a 14-year-old quarter horse gelding born 05/03/2009 and stands 15 hands tall. His beautiful golden, palomino color and white blaze makes him stand out in the herd. Experienced ranch horse and well-mannered with a gentle walk and smooth trot, he has proven himself to be patient and willing to partner with our riders for a successful and safe ride. With his sweet disposition, he has endeared himself to riders and volunteers and quickly became “besties” with Whiskey.
His owners Red and Sandy, current volunteers at Cloud Dancers, did not find his given name Cougar fitting for this beautiful Palomino with such vibrant golden tones and sweet personality. Cougar was renamed Kintaro meaning Golden Boy in Japanese.
