DeAnna was born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico where she earned her degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. For the past 15 years, she has worked at Sandia National Laboratories doing research in the fields of biosensors, microelectronics, atomic precision advanced manufacturing and quantum technologies. She now leads a team to design, develop, and fabricate various technologies in optoelectronics, semiconductors, and quantum information.
In her free time, she likes to bowl, golf, and volunteer. Cloud Dancers volunteering started as a way to work with horses, but she fell in love with the family that is the Cloud Dancers organization. Her favorite phrase is “How can I help?”
