Lynda grew up on a ranch in Colorado, where she and her dad raised Quarter Horses. One of the most important lessons Lynda’s dad passed along to her was to learn to think like her horse–or for that matter, any critter, including humans. She spent her professional life working with people with disabilities, and in the 1960s began a therapeutic horsemanship program at a military hospital in Denver. Her association with Cloud Dancers is a natural extension of her lifelong pairing of horses with people, particularly those with special needs.
